Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app called Hyfe Cough Tracker could help monitor and manage coughs in people with various respiratory diseases. Over 600 participants with conditions like COPD, asthma, or COVID-19 used the app to record their coughs for up to 30 days. Researchers compared the app's cough detection to human listeners and explored if cough sounds could help identify different diseases.
