Summary

This study tests whether a mobile app that uses AI and game-like features can help young adults (ages 18-24) who sometimes struggle to afford food make healthier eating choices. About 114 UC Davis students will use either a basic food-tracking app or one with extra nudges and rewards for six weeks. Researchers will measure how often people use the app, if they like it, and whether their diet quality improves.
