First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether advancing sleep timing (going to bed and waking up earlier) can improve depression symptoms. 150 adults with moderate to severe depression, recently discharged from a psychiatric ward, will either receive usual care or a psychotherapeutic intervention focused on sleep timing. The goal is to see if shifting sleep earlier helps ease depression.
