First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study aims to find new biological markers (biomarkers) for Adult Onset Autoimmune Diabetes (AOnAD) by analyzing blood samples from 25 adults with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will measure changes in specific microRNAs in tiny particles called exosomes. The goal is to better understand this form of diabetes, not to test a treatment.
