First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether using MRI scans to adjust radiation doses during treatment can reduce damage to nearby healthy organs in people with head and neck cancer. About 35 adults with squamous cell carcinoma will receive standard radiation plus an MRI-guided boost. The goal is to see if this personalized approach lowers side effects without compromising cancer control.
