NCT ID NCT05331209

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether acupuncture, with or without daily self-acupressure, can reduce hot flashes in women with BRCA gene mutations who had their ovaries removed. About 200 participants will receive 8 weekly acupuncture sessions, then half will also practice acupressure at home. The goal is to find a safe, non-hormonal way to manage hot flashes and improve quality of life.
