Summary
This study tested whether applying acupressure to a specific point on the hip for one minute before an intramuscular injection could reduce pain, fear, and improve satisfaction. Sixty-eight adults receiving a diclofenac shot were randomly assigned to acupressure or standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free technique makes injections more comfortable.
