First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested whether pressing a specific point on the hip (GB30) before a muscle injection could reduce pain and fear and increase satisfaction. 68 adults who needed a diclofenac injection were randomly assigned to receive acupressure or standard care. Results showed that acupressure helped lower pain and fear and improved how patients felt after the injection.
