Can a simple ear tap fight cancer weight loss?

NCT ID NCT05911243

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, non-invasive therapy called ear acupressure can help improve appetite and prevent weight loss in people with certain advanced cancers. Researchers will recruit 66 patients with stomach, esophageal, or pancreatic cancer to see if applying small adhesive pellets to specific points on the ear is a practical and acceptable approach. The main goal is to see if this method is feasible to study, while also checking for early signs that it might help with appetite and maintaining body weight.
