Can moving in the hospital help seniors bounce back?
NCT ID NCT03115840
Summary
This study aims to understand if being physically active while in the hospital helps older adults recover better after a life-threatening illness. Researchers are tracking 312 patients with conditions like sepsis to see how their activity levels relate to their physical and mental function 3 and 12 months later. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future recovery plans, not to test a specific treatment.
