First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether playing active video games is as good as traditional exercise for people with pulmonary hypertension (PH). Sixteen adults with PH tried both a 20-minute video game session and a 20-minute home exercise session on different days. Researchers measured heart rate, blood pressure, shortness of breath, and how much people enjoyed each activity. The goal was to see if video games could be a fun and safe way to exercise for PH patients.
