New study: can talk therapy and an app ease pain and cut opioid use?

Summary

This study looks at whether adding acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and a care management app can help people who are already taking buprenorphine for opioid use disorder and also have chronic pain. About 123 adults will be assigned to different groups to see if these tools reduce pain interference and illicit opioid use. The goal is to improve daily life and support recovery.
