First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether a plant-based oil (aconite pain oil) can prevent or reduce nerve damage caused by chemotherapy in cancer patients. About 350 adults with solid tumors who are starting nerve-damaging chemo will use the oil or a placebo. The goal is to see if it lowers the risk of moderate-to-severe nerve problems and improves quality of life.
