First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether a single injection of stem cells taken from the patient's own knee fat can safely improve healing and knee function after ACL reconstruction. Fifteen adults scheduled for ACL surgery will receive the stem cell injection during the procedure and be followed for side effects and knee recovery. The goal is to see if this approach reduces pain and improves movement and quality of life.
