Vibration boosts ACL recovery? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07555613

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding gentle vibrations to standard leg exercises helps people regain muscle strength and function more quickly after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) knee surgery. About 62 adults aged 18 to 45 who had ACL reconstruction will take part. For the first six weeks of rehab, some will do their exercises with a vibrating pad on their thigh, while others will do the same exercises without vibration. The goal is to see if the vibration group recovers quadriceps strength and balance faster.
