Vibration boosts ACL recovery? new study tests quicker muscle healing

NCT ID NCT07555613

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding gentle vibrations to standard leg exercises helps people regain muscle strength faster after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) knee surgery. About 62 adults aged 18 to 45 who recently had ACL reconstruction will take part. Half will do rehab exercises with a vibrating device on their thigh, while the other half will do the same exercises without vibration. The goal is to see if the vibration group recovers quadriceps strength and balance more quickly.
