Scientists dig into tendons to uncover hidden clues of psoriatic arthritis pain
NCT ID NCT03248284
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to understand why the Achilles tendon becomes painful and swollen in people with psoriatic arthritis. Researchers will take small tissue samples from the tendon and look for immune cells and inflammatory markers. The goal is to learn more about the disease, not to test a new treatment. About 30 adults with psoriatic arthritis and confirmed tendon inflammation will take part.
