Summary

This study compares the prevalence of the HLA B leader gene in 658 people with psoriatic arthritis and a healthy control group. Researchers will also look at the related HLA B27 gene. The goal is to see whether this genetic marker, already known to affect outcomes in bone marrow transplants, is more common in people with psoriatic arthritis. Participants provide one extra blood sample for genetic testing.
