First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This early-phase study looks at how Acetadote, a drug that affects cell damage, changes metabolism in patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma. Ten adults will receive Acetadote before surgery, and researchers will use MRI scans and tumor tissue analysis to measure metabolic changes. The goal is to understand if this drug can slow tumor growth, not to treat the disease directly.
