First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how well acemetacin, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), works for adults with active axial spondyloarthritis—a type of arthritis that mainly affects the spine. About 150 people aged 18 to 65 will take a daily 90 mg pill for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure pain reduction, disease activity, and any side effects, especially stomach or heart issues.
