New drug combo could save tiny hearts and lungs in preterm infants

Summary
This study tests whether giving two medicines together (acetaminophen and ibuprofen) works better than ibuprofen alone to close a common heart blood vessel in extremely premature babies. About 310 infants born before 27 weeks will take part. The goal is to reduce death and severe lung disease by treating the condition more effectively.
