First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test three common techniques for removing a tiny amount of enamel between teeth to make room for clear aligners. Seventy-five adults will be randomly assigned to manual strips, motor-driven strips, or abrasive discs. The main goal is to see which method most closely matches the planned amount of enamel removal, and how each affects gum health over six weeks.
