Summary
This study tests a device called AAJT-S that is designed to stop severe bleeding in the torso or lower body after a traumatic injury. The device works by blocking blood flow below the waist, which can help stabilize patients in the emergency room or even before they reach the hospital. The study will include 50 adults with life-threatening bleeding and will measure how well the device works and whether it improves survival.
