First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether 3D-printed, custom-made titanium plates help surgeons rebuild the jaw more accurately and efficiently than standard plates. About 92 adults with jaw tumors, deformities, or other conditions will be randomly assigned to receive either type of plate during reconstructive surgery. The main goal is to see how closely the final result matches the surgical plan.
