Custom 3D-Printed molds could make radiation safer for women with gynecologic cancer

Summary

This study tests whether 3D-printed custom applicators can deliver radiation more precisely than standard cylinder applicators for gynecologic cancers like endometrial, vaginal, and vulvar cancer. Ten participants will receive brachytherapy with a personalized 3D-printed mold. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible, safe, and provides better or equal treatment compared to current methods.
