Could gallium beat stubborn lung bugs in cystic fibrosis?

This early-stage study tests the safety of a drug called gallium nitrate given through a vein for 5 days at a time. It is for adults with cystic fibrosis who have a hard-to-treat lung infection called NTM. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and might help clear the infection.
