A spotted fever that has material basis in Rickettsia japonica, which is transmitted by ticks (Dermacentor taiwanensis and Haemaphysalis flava). The infection has symptom fever, has symptom eschars, has symptom regional adenopathy, and has symptom rash on extremities.
