Summary
This study tested a treatment combining enzalutamide (blocks male hormones) and paclitaxel (chemotherapy) given before surgery to women with a specific type of triple-negative breast cancer that has androgen receptors. The goal was to shrink tumors and reduce the amount of breast tissue that needs to be removed. 24 participants with stage I-III cancer were enrolled.
