New drug trial aims to calm esophagus inflammation

Summary

This study tests whether Zemaira, a drug that blocks certain enzymes, can help adults with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), a condition where immune cells build up in the esophagus and cause trouble swallowing. Fifteen participants will receive Zemaira infusions weekly for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in inflammation and track any side effects.
