First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a problem-solving program delivered by video call or text message could help young adults (ages 18-29) living with HIV stay engaged in care, improve mental health, and reduce substance use. Fifty participants from the East Bay area of San Francisco took part over 8 months. The goal was to see if this remote approach is practical and acceptable before scaling it up to a larger trial.
