First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to take pictures of the lungs and brain using MRI and a special gas called xenon. Healthy adults aged 18 to 75 breathed in the gas and then had an MRI scan. The goal was to see if this method could produce clear images without using X-rays or radiation. The study was stopped early, but it may help improve future imaging techniques.
