NCT ID NCT05963607

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is testing whether using a weighted blanket at night can reduce chronic pain and improve sleep in veterans. Researchers will give 160 veterans either a light (3-pound) or heavy (15-pound) blanket to use at home for 6 weeks. The goal is to see if the heavier blanket provides more relief from pain and sleep disturbance than the lighter one.
