Summary
This study tested a program where community health workers led group sessions to help South Asian adults with pre-diabetes lose weight. Nearly 1,000 participants took part. The goal was to see if this approach could help them lose at least 5% of their body weight and reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
