Your smartwatch could spot Alzheimer's before you do
NCT ID NCT07391436
Summary
This study aims to see if data from wearable devices like smartwatches, combined with standard medical tests, can help detect very early signs of memory problems and Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will enroll 150 adults aged 65 and older, some with early memory concerns and some without, to wear devices that track daily activity, sleep, and heart rate for 30 days. The goal is to build a model that identifies subtle patterns in this everyday data that might signal the beginning of cognitive decline long before it's noticeable.
