NCT ID NCT04312633
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study will collect data from 90,000 adults to compare two methods of taking tissue samples from the esophagus: standard forceps biopsies and a brush-based method called WATS3D. The goal is to see which approach better detects Barrett's esophagus, dysplasia, and other esophageal conditions, and how that affects patient care. Participants will be followed for up to 5 years.
