Summary

This study looks at whether eating 50 grams of walnuts daily for 24 weeks can improve blood flow and insulin sensitivity in the brain, as well as thinking skills and appetite control. The researchers will study 55 adults aged 45–75 with abdominal obesity, using MRI scans to measure brain changes. Participants are randomly assigned to eat walnuts or no walnuts for the study period.
