Summary

This small study tests whether a virtual reality exercise program called 'Kitten Crossing the Bridge' can improve brain flexibility in older adults with cognitive frailty. Fifteen participants will do VR-based leg exercises twice a week for four weeks. Researchers will measure brain activity and thinking skills to see if the training helps.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
VR-based resistance training program (Kitten Crossing the Bridge)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a non-drug way to improve brain function in older adults with mild thinking problems.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early exploratory trial with only 15 participants and no control group. Results may not apply to everyone, and the VR program may not show clear benefits.
