Summary
This study tested whether simple distraction techniques could help adults feel less pain after knee replacement surgery. Researchers compared using a virtual reality headset, squeezing a squishy toy, or reading poetry to standard care alone. The main goal was to see if these activities reduced pain levels one day after surgery.
