Brain scans and virtual reality: a new way to fight cancer pain

NCT ID NCT06456411

Summary

This study is testing whether virtual reality (VR) relaxation programs can help reduce pain in people with cancer. Researchers will use a special, non-invasive brain scanner to measure pain levels objectively. The goal is to understand how VR distracts the brain from pain and whether it can reduce the need for pain medication.
