First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) program could help older adults with mild cognitive impairment learn more about dementia and improve their health skills. 139 participants aged 65 and older were split into two groups: one used a VR education module, and the other received standard health information. The goal was to see if VR could boost dementia knowledge, health literacy, and self-confidence in managing their health.
