First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether using an immersive virtual reality (VR) headset combined with arm exercises could help people who had a stroke move their affected arm more. Thirteen adults who had a stroke at least six months earlier took part. They did task-specific training in a VR environment. The goal was to see if this approach encourages more arm movement.
