Summary
This study looked at whether low vitamin D levels in the first three months of pregnancy are linked to a higher chance of developing preeclampsia later on. Over 3,000 pregnant women in France had their vitamin D measured early in pregnancy. The goal was to understand how common vitamin D deficiency is and if it relates to preeclampsia.
