Summary
This study compared two ways to treat badly inflamed tooth pulp: a newer method called vital pulp therapy (VPT) and the standard root canal treatment (RCT). 43 adults with painful, deep cavities took part and were followed for one year. Both treatments aimed to save the tooth and relieve pain, with success measured by no pain and healthy X-rays.
