Summary
This study will follow 20,000 older adults having noncardiac surgery to see if a wearable device can detect early signs of serious complications like heart injury, bleeding, and infections. Researchers will use the data to build prediction models and create a biobank for future tests. The goal is to improve early detection and prevention of post-surgery problems.
