Virtual reality offers new hope for breathing relief in ALS patients

Summary
This study tests whether immersive virtual reality (VR) can reduce persistent shortness of breath in people with ALS who already use a breathing machine (non-invasive ventilation). About 35 adults with ALS and ongoing breathing discomfort will try VR sessions. The goal is to see if VR can provide additional relief beyond standard care.
