Virtual reality offers new hope for breathing relief in ALS

Summary
This study tests whether immersive virtual reality can reduce persistent shortness of breath in people with ALS who already use a breathing machine (non-invasive ventilation). About 35 adults with ALS and ongoing breathing discomfort will try virtual reality sessions. The goal is to see if this approach can improve comfort and quality of life.
