First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a program of videos and text messages (called KidneyTIME) helps people with kidney failure learn more about getting a kidney from a living donor. 422 adults who were already being evaluated for a kidney transplant took part. The study compared those who received the KidneyTIME program to those who got usual care, and tracked their knowledge and whether they asked the transplant center about a living donor over the next year.
