Buzzing muscles back to life: new hope for elderly hip fracture recovery
NCT ID NCT07309965
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a local muscle vibration treatment to standard rehabilitation can help elderly patients recover better after hip fracture surgery. Researchers want to see if this technique is practical to use in a hospital rehab setting and if it helps improve muscle strength, mobility, balance, and pain. The study will involve 25 patients aged 75 and older to check if the treatment is feasible and well-tolerated.
