Buzzing muscles back to life: new hope for elderly hip fracture recovery
NCT ID NCT07309965
Summary
This study is testing whether adding gentle, localized muscle vibration to standard rehabilitation can help elderly patients recover faster after hip fracture surgery. Researchers will enroll 25 patients aged 75+ to see if this vibration therapy is practical to use in hospital rehab and if it improves muscle strength, mobility, and reduces pain. The main goal is to check if patients and staff can easily fit the 30-minute vibration sessions into the weekly recovery routine.
