First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how well three different treatment approaches help veterans with alcohol or drug problems. About 195 veterans staying at a VA psychiatric unit will take part. They may receive a six-session recovery program, a home telehealth service for up to three months, or standard care. Researchers will track their substance use and recovery for three months after treatment.
