First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at why vein grafts used in heart bypass surgery can narrow or fail over time. Researchers will use special full-body PET scans to see what is happening inside the grafts and how this affects the heart and body. The study involves 70 adults who recently had bypass surgery or had it at least 5 years ago. The goal is to better understand these complications to improve future care.
