Summary
This study tests a web app called VA|PREVENTION that uses a virtual coach to help adults at risk for type 2 diabetes make healthier choices about diet, exercise, and sitting less. About 180 participants will either use the app or receive a standard guidebook for 10 months. Researchers will measure changes in waist size, diabetes risk scores, and how well the app works in real life.
